Dr. Amy B. Capoocia practices at
Amy Capoocia, DO, FACOFP, comes to Access Health Care with well over a decade of experience as a practicing physician. She completed a family practice residency and traditional rotating internship at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine/St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, Pennsylvania, where she was recognized as Chief Resident. Dr. Capoocia received her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine.
Dr. Capoocia is a member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association and has active leadership positions in the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. She also serves as adjunct facility for Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton.
Dr. Capoocia is a member of Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, American Academy of Family Practice, and the American Osteopathic Association.
She is married and is the mother of five children. She enjoys outdoor activities and volunteering in the local community, church, and school fund raisers and special projects.
