Asif Masood, MD, completed residency at St. Joseph’s Family Medicine at Clifton in Clifton, New Jersey, and family medicine residency at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica, New York. He graduated from the Allama Iqbal Medical College, University of Health Sciences Lahore. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Masood joined Access Health Care in 2008 after relocated from Utica, New York, where he was a primary care physician with the St. Elizabeth Medical Group. He brought to Access Health Care a diverse physician background with experience in outpatient settings as a primary care provider working with a rheumatologist, a nursing home staff physician, inpatient setting experience as a hospitalist and as an educating physician at St. Elizabeth’s Residency program. He also has experience as a public health educator. Dr. Masood has also appeared on local radio shows discussing a wide range of medical issues. He also gives lectures about diabetes mellitus. Dr. Masood has developed a reputation for sincerity and caring. “I give the patients the time that they require, and purposely limit my daily appointments to make this happen,” he says. “God made us all unique. If God made us unique, how can I treat my patients as a number?” Dr. Masood speaks English, Arabic, Hindi, Tunjubi, and Urdu.
