Dr. David Herndon practices at
David Herndon, DO comes to Access Health Care directly from completing his residency in Family Medicine at Largo Medical Center where he also served as Chief Resident from 2012 to 2013. Dr. Herndon received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine medical degree from A.T. Still University at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. Dr. Herndon has a particular interest in geriatric medicine as well as sports medicine.
He is Board Certified Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment.
Dr. Herndon is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the Florida Society of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.
Dr. Herndon and his staff enjoy treating the entire family from children through grandparents. He believes in practicing evidence based medicine so he can provide his patients with the highest level of care using the most up-to-date information. He also enjoys treating all types of musculoskeletal issues in the office to help patients get back to their normal activities.
He and his wife, Lindsay, have two children and live in Tarpon Springs. He also enjoys everything outdoors including fishing, soccer, snowboarding and mountain climbing.
