Dr. Yuliya Markova-Acevedo practices at
Yuliya Markova-Acevedo, MD is a practicing hospitalist with Access Health Care. She has been with Access Health Care since she relocated to Florida from New York in 2010.
Dr. Markova-Acevedo received her medical degree from Sofia Medical University, Sofia, Bulgaria in 2003. She completed her internal medicine residency at Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center, an affiliate of Weill Medical College of Cornell University, Bronx, New York.
At the early age of five, Dr. Markova-Acevedo was already interested in healthcare and her mother motivated and encouraged her to study medicine. She is fluent in Bulgarian and English and communicates well in basic Spanish. In fact, foreign languages are one of Dr. Markova- Acevedo’s hobbies.
She sees patients ages 18 and over and is a member of the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Markova-Acevedo and her husband, Iber, and son, Anthony, live in Odessa, Florida. She enjoys running, traveling around the world and learning about different cultures, reading, learning new languages - and above all spending time with her family.
