Justen Durr received her MSN in nursing from Chamberlain University in Chicago, Illinois. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Western Governors University and an ASN in nursing from Keiser University. Justen holds a BA in communication from Ashford University as well.
She is a Hernando County native having graduated from Springstead High School in 2001. Justen is also an MSN level instructor at ATA College where she teaches critical care and provides clinical supervision.
Ms. Durr practices as a hospitalist provider at Access Health Care. She came to Access Health Care from the neurotrauma department at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point.
Over the years Justen has been the author of several presentations and articles. Many of her patients may recognize her from her past highly visible position at Weeki Wachee Springs where, when young, she served as a lifeguard, on the mermaid team, and IT specialist. Justen is also a proud achiever of the Eagle Scout designation. While at Weeki Wachee, Justen served as coach of the Weeki Wachee Mermaid volleyball team during its highly publicized tournament with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders.
She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Tampa Bay Nurse Practitioner Association. She is an avid sky diver and enjoys para-motoring, scuba diving, and sailing her 50’ sailboat named “The MYTTHOR.”
